Aside from Daniel and Julie Anne, Pop Rock Princess Yeng Constantino and Flip-Top Prince Abra are also named OPM Ambassadors.

Daniel, Yeng and Abra received their plaques from OPM President Ogie Alcasid on Friday night, June 7, at the Pagcor Grand Theater. Julie Anne was absent as she is currently on vacation in New York.

According to an interview by Philippine Daily Inquirer, OPM President Ogie Alcasid said that the four OPM Ambassadors will make it their mission to encourage the youth to identify with Original Pilipino Music instead of foreign acts.

“We’re trying our best to push original Filipino music forward, and we recognize the importance of reaching out to the youth. We want to build a strong connection with them. We appreciate the fact that they [Daniel, Julie Anne, Yeng and Abra] willingly gave us their endorsement. We need their help,” he said.
