(TV) Coco Martin Maintains Lead on Primetime, “Anna Karenina” Remake Aired Lowest in History (16.2)

ABS-CBN’s no.1 superhero drama series “Juan dela Cruz” continues to reign on primetime television with more viewers following Juan’s (Coco Martin) adventures and quest to defeat the Haring Aswang.

Based on Kantar Media’s national TV ratings data last Monday (June 3), “Juan dela Cruz” garnered 36.2% national TV ratings, or 20 points higher than its newest rival program on GMA “Anna Karenina” which only got 16.2%.

Meanwhile, continue to follow the intensifying scenes in “Juan dela Cruz” now that Juan has discovered the world of the fairies. How will Juan protect Mira (Shaina Magdayao) and her people from the prophecy that will endanger their kingdom? Vincent and Bruno made history as France first same-sex married couple!

Vincent Autin, 40, and Bruno Boileau, 29, are the first gay couple to wed in France since the law granting gay men and lesbians equality in marriage and adoption has been in effect!

France is the 14th country to permit same-sex marriage in the world.

Vincent and Bruno exchanged vows and rings before Helene Mandroux, mayor of the southern of city of Montpellier on Wednesday to cheers and applause at a city hall ringed by riot police.

As minutes before the pair had prepared to make their entrance in front of 500 invited guests, journalists and well-wishers inside the futuristic, blue-glass city hall, someone had tossed a smoke bomb into the building’s grounds.

Not even biggest street protests in years – or a smoke bomb lobbed toward the city hall - could stop Vincent and Bruno getting married.

The wedding ceremony was planned to be shown on a giant TV screen outside city hall the city hall, but it was scrapped due to protests. It was shown online instead.
